Sue has crossed the Scottish border and is in Melrose, a beautiful town with a stunning abbey. She just wishes she was there in reality. It has been perfect weather for walking and destinations have been more varied now Covid restrictions have eased a little.
This walking challenge has highlighted for Sue the changes in our countryside. Right now it must be at its best with millions of wild flowers everywhere. Glorious! Having wondered what on earth she had taken on during the soggy, freezing few months at the beginning of the year, she now doesn’t want it to end. There’s still a long way to go though to keep her happy.
