Four of our intrepid volunteers will take part in the Kyaninga Triathlon in May to raise money for Accomplish Children's Trust, including our partner project at Kyaninga Child Development Centre.
Organised by Kyaninga Lodge and set in the Rwenzori mountains, paediatrician Chris, maxillo-facial surgeon Caroline, dentist Rob and treasurer Chris will be running, cycling and swimming over 100km between them to raise money for this wonderful cause!
Every penny donated will go to improving the lives of children living with disability, through education initiatives for families and communities, improving access to healthcare, and helping impoverished families to become self-sustaining through projects such as our garden goat and pig schemes. Accomplish also supports a primary and a secondary school with specialised facilities for deaf, blind, and wheelchair-using children.
Training has already begun so please show your support for their hard work by donating!
And if you fancy pulling on your trainers for the adventure of a lifetime, join Chris A, Rob and Chris H (above) on May 15-21 for a triathlon, duathlon or 5k run.
