Rebecca Cornish, MBE
Founder & Vice Chair
Rebecca is a physiotherapist and the founder of Accomplish Children's Trust. Whilst working in a rural hospital in Uganda, she was introduced to two support groups for parents of disabled children. Having recognised the need, been impressed with the organisations’ visions, and what they had been able to achieve with very limited resources, she left Uganda with a promise to try and support them. She’s found it an incredible privilege to work with our partners over the years, and see the positive impact they are having on the lives of children and their communities. Rebecca currently lives in England with her husband and two young children, where she is an active member of her local church. She was awarded an MBE in 2020 for services to disabled children in Africa.
Accomplish runs eight rural epilepsy clinics, serving about 800 children. The clinics cover a huge area of Western Uganda, from Kagando to beyond Fort Portal.
